Insulating Rods and Hot Sticks

Merqab supplies insulating rods and hot sticks used by electrical workers for safe operation of switches, disconnectors, and other equipment on live MV and HV systems without direct contact. Our range includes operating rods, discharge rods, universal hot sticks, and telescopic pole systems for various reach requirements. Insulating rods provide the electrical insulation barrier that allows authorized personnel to operate live electrical equipment from a safe working distance. They are rated for specific voltage levels and must be regularly tested and maintained to ensure their insulating properties remain effective. All insulating rods and hot sticks we supply comply with IEC 60900 and IEC 60855 standards and are tested to the appropriate voltage rating before supply.
